  • One day, a great forest fire broke out. All the animals stood by, paralyzed by the scale of the disaster. Only the tiny hummingbird flew back and forth, carrying drops of water in its beak to pour over the flames. The others asked: “Why bother? You can’t stop the fire.” The hummingbird replied: “I’m doing my part.”

This story has always resonated with me. It reminds me that leadership is not about controlling everything, but about taking responsibility and inspiring others to act. In energy transition and transformation, the challenge is immense. But like the hummingbird, I believe every action counts, and my role is to empower teams and organizations to do their part, together.
